15 Amp Braided (Armoured) Industrial Extension leads

15 Amp 240V Screened (Armored) extension lead with four layers of insulation for added electrical and mechanical protection.

The first two layers are the same as a standard extension lead.

The third layer is a braided copper screen. With the braided screen connected to the earth pin.

The fourth layer is a UV resistant PVC Sheath.

The braided screen offers additional mechanical protection, and another multi earth path in the case of the outer cable insulation damaged, and the active conductor hit, tripping the RCD.

There is also reduced electromagnetic interference helping protect sensitive electronic equipment.
